If you ever wanted acreage far away from noisy highways and still be close enough to emergency services and shopping, this may be your dream come true. Retire in one of the finest recreational areas in the North West with 7 alpine fishing lakes and over 120,000 acres of the Okanogan National Forest just minutes away.

This acreage is 70% covered with Fir, Ponderosa Pine, and Aspens with a view of the mountains to die for. You will have some of the most interesting rock outcroppings to enjoy nature’s art work for a lifetime. The property is about as private as you can get in a location that attracts outdoors people that love to bird watch with over 400 species to observe as I have for the past 30 years or so.

Underground phone is on the south side of the property ready to hook up today and power is about 400 feet from the north line of the property. This property is perfect for any size cabin or home you would want with large area for a great garden with southern exposure. The property is covered with wild flowers with colors that will make you want to bring out your paint brush and easel.

The Log Cabin on 20 acres is located in the Okanogan Highlands offering approximately 300 days of sunshine and year-round activities. You and your guests will have all the privacy you could want. This well-built log cabin is ready to use with spectacular 360-degree views of snowcapped mountains and the Okanogan National Forest.

The property has been surveyed and staked leaving no guesswork on the 20 acre boundaries. You will have the best exposure for gardens or an animal or two. The property has excellent tree cover – with Ponderosa pines, adult Firs, and my favorite Aspens.

You might think you’d be deep into the backcountry to get such beauty and privacy. However, you will be a little over one mile from a well-maintained roads and less than 30 minutes from Tonasket.

The log cabin is 16ft x 20ft including a covered porch with views of Mt Bonaparte is to the north, to the east the Okanogan National Forest and Mt Annie sits like a picture window to the northeast. The cabin comes with a propane heater that will keep the cabin cozy even in the coldest weather. There are 7 alpine lakes in the valley below for you to fish to your heart’s content – 3 of the lakes are less than 10 minutes away, Round Lake, Long Lake, and Ell Lake. I have caught trout up to 22 inches in these lakes.
